Welcome to QualTex Laboratories! QualTex was established September 1, 2007, as a tax-exempt affiliate of the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center (STBTC). QualTex will serve as the testing services division of STBTC and at present screens millions of whole blood and plasma donations for infectious agents each year for biotechnology companies locally and across the globe.

STBTC has operated as a community not-for-profit blood center for more than 30 years and has provided advanced testing services for blood screening, medical testing, and clinical research.

As an internationally recognized facility for our services and research, QualTex Laboratories is looking forward to providing the same standard of service excellence as provided under the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center name.
